I think that Aishwarya Rai's body (or lack thereof) is probably the main reason that thoughts of making her the next Bond girl were short-lived.

Julia Roberts has singled her out as the most beautiful girl in the world and Aish is a former Miss World so Larimani has some support for his nomination. Personally, she doesn't do much for me even though I am Indian. There are some other Bollywood actresses however...well, I better stop before the Mrs. gets wacky ideas and does a search for my posts or something...heh.
