A2s from SB
Not my hand. Limit doesn't matter, and consider villian moderately aggressive(will autobet any flop and probably bet turn).
Preflop MP openraises, Hero calls with A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] in SB, BB folds. Flop A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Check, bet, raise, call. Turn 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Bet, call. River 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Bet... I'd just like to hear a few opinions on how this hand was played. Mainly the call in the SB(giving BB 5:1), and postflop why the check-call check-call bet line is or isn't superior. Thanks. |

Re: A2s from SB
I think you should fold this pre-flop, it's just not a strong enough hand to be almost cold-calling raises with.

Re: A2s from SB
I think postflop is fine, especially if villain is tricky, but can't fold pairs (this would be the case in most higher limit games).
Preflop is crummy though. |

Re: A2s from SB
Come one more people respond. How bad is the flat call from the SB? Is it even wrong at all?
This hand is an example from Barry Greenstein's new book. |

Re: A2s from SB
PF call sucks unless you are playing a retard.
