missed bet, standard play here?
Party Poker 30/60 (4 handed) converter
Preflop: Hero is BB with 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. 1 foldVillian(Button) raises,SB calls, Hero calls. Flop: T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (3 players) SB checks, Hero bets, Villian raises,SB folds, Hero calls. Turn: 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players) Hero bets, Villan calls. River: 4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players) Hero checks, Villian checks. Final Pot: Thoughts? My thought on river was to let him take a crying shot at the pot with a T or worse, then call down. Anyways check check, and MHIG thoughts on flop, turn, river? |

Re: missed bet, standard play here?
Why not check-raise the flop? You likely have the best hand.
Other than that, I would bet the river. When he calls you on the turn instead of raising, it looks like he's just calling you down with A high or a pair smaller than J. |
