Default Folding bottom set against all-in and call

No reads on villains, really. Neither had done anything really out of line in the 50+ hands I'd been at the table.

I maybe have myself to blame for the smallish flop raise, but honestly...

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ BB :#A500AF(Villain 2)/ (10 handed) converter

CO ($18.35)
Hero ($48.81)
SB :#A500AF(Villain 1)/ ($46.50)
BB :#A500AF(Villain 2)/ ($47.75)
UTG ($24.90)
UTG+1 ($23.07)
UTG+2 ($25.72)
MP1 ($48)
MP2 ($42.70)
MP3 ($50.60)

Preflop: Hero is Button with 4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. SB :#A500AF(Villain 1)/ posts a blind of $0.25.
<font color="#666666">6 folds</font>, <font color="#CC3333">CO raises to $1</font>, Hero calls $1, SB :#A500AF(Villain 1)/ (poster) calls $0.75, BB :#A500AF(Villain 2)/ calls $0.50.

Flop: ($4) 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(4 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">Villain 1 bets $3</font>, Villain 2 calls $3, CO calls $3, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $10</font>, Villain 2 calls $42.50, CO folds, Hero folds.

Turn: ($65.50) 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>

River: ($65.50) T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>

Final Pot: $65.50

I don't see the push on the flop, SB pushed ?

I call this, expecting to take the whole thing home.

without reads, I think you have to call this... hearts could do this and AA/AK could do this... 2-pair is always a possibility... You might be losing to 77 but you will win this enough to make it very profitable..

In general, you need very tight reads to fold a set... you don't have them and betting sequence isn't that telling...

You should be calling this everytime. At these stakes, I would never fold a set. If I lose a stack to a higher set, I'm just going to have to make it back.

Why are playing 44 if you are not going to push here? This is your flop!

What flop were you expecting? 444
