Most useful book you\'ve ever read
What is the single best / most useful non poker book you've ever read? The one book which you consider to be absolutely indispensible... if you could read only one book out of all the books that you've ever read, you would read that book. Mine is Think and Grow Rich by Napolean Hill.

Re: Most useful book you\'ve ever read
Probably A People's History of the United States by Howard Zinn. I don't know if the book was useful in the sense that you guys are talking about, but it helped me to become more intellectually independent and personally determined to live my life the way I want to.

Probably A People's History of the United States by Howard Zinn. [/ QUOTE ] Yes, People's History is excellent. I wonder what Zinn would have to say about Katrina and our government's response, although I suspect I already know. |
