Points to both sides, but like posted earlier, this is definately a string bet, only because you DID bring chips out that covered a minimum raise.
I don't think it was an intentional string bet, though.

huh? then how are people supposed to know when you're done raising? there is no standard "end of raise" gesture or declaration.

not counting this as a string bet would lead to endless ridiculous arguments like "oh well you paused for a sip of Sprite so you were done raising".
