Re: The most amazing thing I\'ve ever experienced at a casino
BTW, I said it must have been Jesus prior to reading his first mention in this thread. Based on the mention by others, I am now even more convinced it was Jesus. There's simply no other logical conclusion.

Re: This Story is Complete BS...
[ QUOTE ]
So he shoves the money into your hand and you just put it in your pocket. If the bills were 20's, you would have a huge wad of bills. If it was hundreds, you would still notice that he gave you more than one. Story is complete BS and anyone who believes it is a fish. [/ QUOTE ] Good call Al, I totally agree -- this story is a bunch of bull. Several things, along with what you point out, indicate the story is just another poker urban myth. 1. He maxed out his ATM? That's like a few hundred bucks and it doesn't fit in with the quantities of the story. 2. He didn't have money to get home? Who comes to a casino with out a way to get home? 3. You gave him $100? Since when does it cost $100 to get home? What, did he take a cab from 50 miles away? 4. You never saw him again? He can pay you $900 juice, but is suddenly too broke to come back to the casino. The story is BS, which makes the original author, the ultimate tool. Sparks |

[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] Also, while the use of the abbreviation "Cali" is popular in this thread, y'all should know that native californians do not say "Cali". It's kind of like how native san franciscans don't say "Frisco" or "San Fran". If you say "Cali", we know that you didn't have the good fortune to be born in the Golden State, and we glare at you when you're not looking because we know you're stealing our pleasant weather and delicious burritos. [/ QUOTE ] you're aware that california sucks, right? [/ QUOTE ] Clearly lucas is correct. Your weather is nice, but your burritos are sub par. Also, I believe I first heard the term "Cali" from someone from there. [/ QUOTE ] Subpar? Where in america would you find a better burrito? [/ QUOTE ] there's pretty damn good mexican food in Vegas |
