Re: Weekday cards in SF Bay Area - suggestions?
San Pablo has no limit I think, as does Lucky Chances. Bay 101 is worth the trip, although at small stakes it probably does not make a big difference in the games. I think the 6/12 at the Oaks is a good bet.

Re: Weekday cards in SF Bay Area - suggestions?
Thanks. I think I'll try the 3/6 at the Oaks at first due to bankroll limitations, but if all goes well I'll try the 6/12 there too. Since I have 5 days to play, I'll probably try San Pablo at least once as well.
wish me luck, ts- |

Re: Weekday cards in SF Bay Area - suggestions?
I've played 3/6 at the Oaks. Very beatable. Watch out for the players with any two starting cards hitting 2 pairs. That play was at epidemic proportions when I played there.
I've watched a few other games on another occasion. The 15/30 looked pretty solid. |

Down $41 in the 3/6 game and up $270 in the 6/12 game. yesterday seemed to be a much juicier day than today as both games had some very loose-passive players as opposed to the tight-aggros that I played with today. even table changes didn't seem to help any. I might check out the Casino San Pablo on thursday. but yeah, there are plenty of people who will play any two even at the Oaks 6/12 and then play any back-door draw they can convince themselves will hit. my favorite was a lady who limped in UTG with Jc/4s and then called all the way down with bettors and raisers on a board of K/Qs/3s/7s to hit her 4-hi flush on the river. awesome. thanks for the advice, ts- |
