Table selection at party 2/4

I've been scanning for decent tables last couple weeks, and finding that seats are opening up because the loose guys are leaving. Faced with a field of glowering red VPIP numbers (19 and down!)I start looking for a new table.

Combine that with the table break up "leak" (IE one joins a table, loose a couple hands, table breaks up. Find new table, rinse, repeat. "hey, where's all my money?") and its starting to annoy me.

I'm guessing its all the dang bonuses that party and skins are tossing out, everyone just rocking up for the duration. How are you guys handling it? Dropping down to .5/1 for the duration? Play earlier in the day? I've been starting at 9 pm PST.

Haven't noticed a change, and I play the worst time of the day.

Even if the table as an average isn't to your liking it's no problem if you have good position on a very weak player, sometimes it's even better.

Some people are just tight, it doesn't mean they are good - AT ALL.

It's 7AM EST, and I've got 4 tables with 30% VP$IP, and this is arguably the worst time to play. Just find good tables, they're always there.

Load up your buddy list, and start there.

I haven't been having any problems finding 4 tables of >30% VP$IP lately. Getting there sometimes takes kicking over a few rocks, but it's not that hard.

Ok. Just checking. I mean, I am aware that on average the 2/4 is a tighter game than the limits below, or its live cousin. I guess I'm just getting the tightest particular tables and need to keep looking.

As for the buddy list.....None of my buddies have been coming on lately! Makes me worried about their health, ya know? [img]/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img] Guess I have to root around for some new "friends" now....
