Well, you are right of course with your scenario.

When I used the word threatened in my post it probably was not precise. I meant if I feared I wouldn't get paid off properly. For instance, If my stack is substantially equal to the largest stack at my table why re buy? If only one player rebuys I probably would risk that I would not be AI w/ him. If, however 5 or 6 rebuy immediately then I would as well. Probably.

I don't know where the line should be drawn.

In unlimited re buy where does it end? I've seen on PP rebuys w/ 3500 chips to 4500 chips. I know you can make a case for that rebuy. So could I. But I probably would not rebuy there. Unless...

I slow play all my strong hand, because I know someone will always push with small pockets.
