Default When to Start Fading the Saints?

I was not very big on this team to start. I even had them listed at 5-11 in my preseason picks (pre-Katrina). Now you would have to believe that at some point they will be dragged down by a tough year.

I think week one they will come out fired up and could really surprise the Panthers. Week two at the Giants they could be a little stoked for that game as well, being they had a home game taken away.

I'm looking forward to week three at the Vikings and thinking that it will all catch up to them. Then just fade them the rest of the year.

There really is no precedent for how they will react from here on out. Will they just punt the season? Will they have new found focus and energy to represent their fallen city? Or will it be a combo of some sort?

That's why I'm staying far, far away from the Aints for a while.

Could look at the Saints this way:
They have pretty much of a free-roll.
Nobody expects much and everyone will excuse a lame performance this year.

They have some talent, if they'd ever get it together, though I'm not a big fan of their coach, Haslett.

I wouldn't be too quick to just go against them.
