8 team league with individual defensive players

I get: E. James and L. Fitzgerald
I give up: R. Lewis and J. Porter

Should I do it? For those of you who are not familiar with indiviual defensive players, they're absolutely essential, as they can make or break your team. I'd say they score about 35-40% of the pts (with 6 players versus 8 players on offense). And R. Lewis is THE most dominating defensive player in the game as he will rack up at least 8 pts each game (usually scores +10 pts). I'm thin on RBs so this is why I'm wondering if I should make the move.
