Difference between 2/4 and 3/6 on Party
I'm just curious as to what people's experiences are in the differences between 2/4 and 3/6 on Party Poker.
Right now I'm playing 2/4 and you can pretty much open any table and it will be a good table. Is there a drastic change in 3/6? I've heard that 5/10 is a lot tougher so there is a definite jump there. Specifically I'm talking about things like looseness, post-flop skills, and overall aggression. What adjustments did you have to make in your play when you moved to 3/6? |

3/6 has tighter, more passive players. many of us take advantage of this by playing the 6max and running the taps over.

FWIW, the jump from 1/2 2/4 is ten times easier than the jump from 2/4 to 3/6. There are a ton of LPP players as well as over zealous LAGs. At 3/6, you will run into absolutely terrible tables. You must take advantage of TPP players and learn to play with many thinking TAGs.

3/6 is a lot tighter and pretty passive, at 5/10 the loosies come back but become very aggressive

Re: Difference between 2/4 and 3/6 on Party
I notice zero difference on the Crypto's. If you've got the bankroll and a proven record at 2/4, 3/6 shouldn't be much different.
I find the Crypto's tighter than party, is this just me or common knowledge? |

You have to practice table selection at 3/6. I usually have no problem finding at least four good tables during the day and 8 at night, but you have to look for them.
At 2/4 the money is handed to you at any table...it's like stealing sometimes. |
