Last time I check the people being moved to the astrodome were poor and mostly black. I'm not alowed to post the truth? Maybe I'm taking this a little over the top but last week Pres Bush made a comment about how a friend had lost a house, but it wasn't so bad because he was going to rebuild it bigger and better.. all the time with a fat smile on his face.

#1 a great majority of the pop in NO is poor, of minority races, homeless, etc. 1 in 5 owned cars and probably not the lower classes THUS they either couldnt evacuate in time or chose NOT to. Almost 30% of the cities population was considered below the poverty lvl BEFORE this incident. Noone labeled a race or decided to leave a race, etc. Its not like BUSH went in there with helicopters and said "OK ALL THE RICH WHITE FOLKS GET ON...u MINORITIES STAY HERE!!" christ people...

and his comment about his friend building a bigger home wasnt to flaunt money...it was to give HOPE to a better situation after this crisis - to give them something to look foward to - to give others the enthusiasm to build bigger and better when they can - that things will get better, etc. come on now!!!

With the way some people twist stuff and think and take things out of context half our nation should be exterminated or not allowed to breed
