I may be a moron, but I do the same thing on rare occasions when multi-tabling.

So, even though your opponent is going to bet the river no matter what he has, you're not going to call if he checks the turn and either the turn or the river pairs you? Even if one of the aforementioned is an A or 2?

*A is a good card if he checks because it means your kicker no longer matters, he would probably bet his top pair, and there is a high probability SB would have raised with an A preflop anyway.

Great googly-moogly! Can you even see ONE table? Until I got my FP2001 (best poker purchase ever) I was playing at 1280x1024 (iirc), and it was tough to multi-table even then.

Open-fold and you look like a retard. Like Cartman in that Special Olympics episode.

I rarely open-fold, but I don't see anything terrible about it. You have some COMPLETE crap in the BB and completely miss the big-card coordinated flop against four other players. The only way you might win is by hitting a runner-runner two-pair. It's just not worth dealing with. I just hit fold and yes to the prompt reminding me I can check. I would have folded to any bet regardless.

I cannot even remember the last time a flop like that was checked all the way around on the flop.

I keep laughing to people who fold before it's bet every time, all the time.
Seriously, this is retarded.

When someone does this on a regular basis and on a particular hand checks...it's generally a sign of a check/raise to come.
