67s, monster flop
No reads. I am slowly moving into the world of NL. I get a c/r here every time at limit. Did i play this too passive? How about my river bet? and PF call?
Thanks. Re: 67s, monster flop
lead the flop. hope he has a hand and raises. call his raise.
check-raise the turn big if that happens. |

Re: 67s, monster flop
I don't like the preflop call. You are HU oop hoping to build a drawing hand against a 4BB (i infer from the average stack size) pfr. Unless you've got some ulterior motive such as trying to pry the pot away from your opponent whenever he shows weakness this play costs you money.

Re: 67s, monster flop
well the only draw really (68) got there at the end, so what are you calling with that he can beat? when you lead full pot you aren't representing anything that isn't extreme strength because it can't be a bluff so i'd ditch really anything if i were villain. also he doesn't seem like he has very much considering the small flop bet and check behind, so i can't imagine he called. depending on my read i might just check the river too, it seems like he has high cards, but who knows. but yeah lead the flop, hope he has a hand.

Re: 67s, monster flop
I like leading the flop. This is what you'd do with air. PF raiser will bow up, now you have a pot.

[ QUOTE ] I think i should have made a lot more on this hand. [/ QUOTE ] oh, really? [/ QUOTE ] Well if i decide to lead the flop like everyone says, you don't think it would have been a bigger pot? I guess a lot of that came from playing later whith this guy. In limit I have a standard line for big hands against an unknown. I play NL live because it's everywhere, just trying to get a feel for the online NL. |

Re: 67s, monster flop
Flop- With no reads at all, I like checking this flop. I dont see how your going to get money out of this hand unless he has an overpair or overcards and is making a continuation bet. (which is what seems like happened) I would play the flop the same.
Turn- Im checking here as well. Let him continue to fire with his overcards or overpair while building the pot and disguising your hand. His check on the turn seems like overs. River- I've put him on K [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] Q [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], and It looks like hes not going to call me on the river, nor bluff me. Value bet 25, but it shouldnt matter. |
