Of course it's extremely dated at this point but the story was great.

VI and VII are always the popular choices for the series. V always gets overlooked, partially because it wasn't released in the US until many years after it's time. The job system in V craps all over the espers and materia from the later games. Galuf is one of the funniest characters in the series. VI and VII are going to be heavyweights in whatever poll comes of this, I was just getting some more obscure games in the mix.

Chrono Cross is not better than Chrono Trigger, but not many games are. It's still one of the best.

I haven't played FFV all the way through and haven't played Panzer Dragoon Saga at all, but I wouldn't think you're so cool for "being the only one to suggest the others"


most of those would be on my list of favorites. And Chrono Cross is horribly overrated. Xenogears may be the best of all time.
