Default UB vs Pokerstars - higher stakes NL games

Hi all,

I've been playing almost exclusively on UB for the last 8 months or so, played elsewhere prior to that. I usually play $5-10 or $10-25 on UB, depending on what's running and who's in the game.

Lately it's becoming more and more difficult to get into $5-10 NL as it seems like it runs once or week or less, so I just wanted to get some general feedback on:

$5-10 NL on UB vs $5-10 nl on Stars

- and -

$10-25 NL on UB vs $10-20 on Stars

Would like to hear from people who play the games on both sites, but Stars-only players are welcome to post too, would like to get all the info that I can get!

Thanks in advance for all the feedback - much appreciated, as always!

Not sure when you're playing, but I see multiple 5-10NL games going on UB all the time.

As for where to play 5-10 and 10-20, you're looking in the wrong places. The games at Party are infinitely more profitable than the games at Stars and UB.

Hey Diablo,

Multiple 5-10 games going on are all 6-max and I'm more interested in a full ring games (sorry, should've been more specific). However, you bring an interesting point about Party, as I've never played there before. Are the games that much softer then Stars/UB?

There are very few Party 5/10 full ring games at most times, at most 2 or rarely 3 and those only at 5-10 EST, however there are usually anywhere from 5-12 full ring games at 10/20.

Anyone know why this is?

5/10 has 6max available, 10/20 doesn't.

Combination of having 5/10 6max games while not having 6 max 10/20 games and lots of people playing 10/20 full ring instead. The 5/10 full ring games were packed until they opened 10/20. There are only a quarter as many 3/6 NL full ring as 2/4 full ring players also, there's just a big gap.
