Q6s BB vs raise, peel flop, face 2 cold on turn...
Part of an ongoing effort to loosen up my play a bit... This entire hand made me a bit uncomfortable. Looking for feedback on all streets.
Reads: MP1 has pretty good TAG numbers but is currently tilting, whining, and berating the table, especially the button for "playing crap and sucking out blah blah blah..." Button is truly an uberdonk, something like 65/30/2+. He has: - capped KQo OOP preflop vs my AA, then bluff C/R'ed the river on a rag board (I called) - tried 2 turn bluff checkraises (one vs me), insta-folding to a 3-bet - raised K9o in EP, I 3-bet AJs. He led all 3 streets and called my raises on a AKJxx board In short, I'm happy to have him at the table. CO's numbers may seem slightly LAG 35/16/1.9, but he has run very well, playing good hands strongly and showing down a number of near-nut winners. Only obviously flaw in his play is that he seems to cold-call pre-flop more than is optimal. Party Poker 2/4 Hold'em (8 handed) converter Preflop: JerseyTom is BB with 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. 2 folds, MP1 raises, 1 fold, CO calls, Button calls, 1 fold, JerseyTom calls. 7.5:1 immediate closing the action here, but with a very marginal hand OOP. Do people usually make this call? Flop: (8.50 SB) J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (4 players) JerseyTom checks, MP1 bets, CO calls, Button calls, JerseyTom calls. Is peeling here justified, getting 11.5:1, again closing the action? Q's may make a str8 (Qd may make a flush or give a redraw). 6's are probably good, with decent implied odds... Turn: (6.25 BB) 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (4 players) JerseyTom checks, MP1 bets, CO calls, Button raises, JerseyTom...??? Since MP1 fired again, he has at least top pair or an overpair (he's not leading this turn with just overs). The donk could have anything (bottom 2 pair, A-hi, the nuts, or maybe he just paired his 7...). What's the plan, both for this street and the next if we get that far? Tom |

Re: Q6s BB vs raise, peel flop, face 2 cold on turn...
Preflop and flop are standard, you're getting a good price. Since MP1 is tilting I wouldn't be suprised if he's betting overs again, especially since he'd have a straight draw to go along with them. Doesn't really matter if he is or isn't though, call the turn regardless.

Re: Q6s BB vs raise, peel flop, face 2 cold on turn...
call, call, call. There is the interesting possibility of 3-betting the turn against the maniac, if CO might fold a better hand, but that's really read dependent and probably a little too wild.
