Here's my take,
I generally only like this hand multi-way (7-1 pre-flop odds), I'll throw in the 1/2 bet and hope to flop a monster then get out if not, If I am going to play the hand short handed then I would definitely raise preflop to isolate the button, bet the flop then get out if too much aggression. am I wrong?

The reason I cold called on the flop was due to the fact the Button was opening a lot of pots from button or cutoff. I hadn't made much of a stand against him thus far. He had overplayed more than a few hands in the time I was at the table. It wasn't that the BB was tight as much as unknown. I jsut didn't know how he played (nor did the Button which led to the strange way the hand played out).

I can see where a 3-bet preflop would be a good play but I didn't want to see a 4th bet come my way. I was happy to put in the $20 and see the flop.

The worst part of the hand: I froze up when the action didn't fit what I had seen in my minds eye. The flop played so strangly to what I thought was going to happen I just gave up on the hand and checked it out (jsut bad poker as was stated).

The main reason for this post was to see if I should have C'Red the flop like I had planed. All the adtional info is great.

Thanks again for the help!

LOL, ok. The reason I asked was cuz he mentioned how he usually plays PLO or something and is just getting back into limit holdem.

I played mostly Limit Omaha High and O/8. I like PLO but there just isn't enough to go around

T7s isn't much of a hand with which to make a stand. This is evidenced by how the hand actually played out; you made top pair, and still weren't comfortable. Fold this preflop.
