Was there something called a "showdown card" that players could use, maybe only once total, to see a hand that they didn't call?

There was such a card. I hope it's only a one-time experiment, although I've got a feeling it's something they may stick into a PPT event

They did a small piece with Fischman playing online at Party Poker.

Anyone know his screen name there?

Thought Cassidy would win, but that's cool too.

Fischman's quad queens hand was the type that 90% of online players swear only happen on their site.

I'm sure I'll get flamed for this, but I caught the last 45 minutes of this and I wasn't too impressed with the poker.

I'm open minded, I know I have a lot to learn, and maybe I can't comprehend playing at that level, but there seemed to be a lot of going too far with nothing and some bad decisions.

I know, they can buy and sell me, et. al. but I sat there thinking some of these plays are just awful.

Default As to the quality of play

Wasn't this an invitational, with no prize other than the WPT championship lammer?

That might explain some of the short-stacked play. I only caught bits and pieces of the show myself.
