Default Part NL 100 6max: Was this too sheepish with middle set?

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ BB (6 max, 6 handed) pokerhand.org hand converter

When the third heart hit the board on turn I felt that I'm way behind. I had no reads on my opponents, I had just sat down at the table. When everybody checked to me I decided to take a free card. At the time it seemed obvious that with so many players calling my raise it's impossible that there isn't at least one flush draw or straight draw out there.

Please, openly critisize the way I played this.

UTG ($50.40)
MP ($119.80)
CO ($104.70)
Hero ($112.10)
SB ($94.26)
BB ($143.60)

Preflop: Hero is Button with 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. SB posts a blind of $0.50.
<font color="#CC3333">UTG raises to $3</font>, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, CO calls $3, Hero calls $3, SB (poster) calls $2.50, BB calls $2.

Flop: ($15) 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(5 players)</font>
SB checks, BB checks, <font color="#CC3333">UTG bets $2</font>, CO calls $2, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $6</font>, SB calls $6, BB folds, UTG calls $4, CO calls $4.

Turn: ($39) 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(4 players)</font>
SB checks, UTG checks, CO checks, Hero checks.

River: ($39) 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(4 players)</font>
SB checks, UTG calls $41.40 (All-In), CO folds, Hero folds, SB calls $41.40.

Final Pot: $121.80

This should be in the small stakes forum.

Raise a lot lot more on the flop.

Raise to at least $15 on the flop.
