Default couldn\'t figure it out...

Party Poker 10/20 Hold'em (6 max, 6 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is MP with J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].
1 fold, Hero raises, CO calls, Button calls, 1 fold, BB 3-bets, Hero calls, CO calls, Button calls.

Flop: (12.50 SB) 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (4 players)
BB bets, Hero raises, CO folds, Button calls, BB calls.

Turn: (9.25 BB) 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (3 players)
BB checks, Hero bets, Button calls, BB calls.

River: (12.25 BB) 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 players)
BB checks, Hero bets, Button calls, BB raises, Hero folds

Alright, no reads on villian. He plays the hand quite strangely. The river is aweful. He check raises a river blank (unless he has 33 which doesn't really fit). I'm getting great odds to call. Should I call here just because I can't figure out what he has or can I just assume he hit something because the pot is protected and the move is so strong and go ahead and fold?

Against an unknown at 10/20 6-max, if he makes a check-raise like that that makes no sense, I call it every time. The number of times I catch a nonsense bluff never ceases to amaze me.

What could he possibly play like that? I just don't buy it

I called in the actual hand. Anyone else agree that a call is in order since the hand looks so wierd?

I think a call is fine here actually. Pot a little too big, and you might want to call for meta-game reasons too so that you're not put in tough marginal spots later.

I'm folding. If it's headsup, I'd call. But the villain c/r the river against 2 opponents.

I agree he played the hand bizarrely, but I'd really be surprised if you have the best hand. Despite the odds, I'd fold.

looks like a slow played set Js possibly 6s or 99. Without a read i don't hate calling here given the odds but at best it's close and probably slightly -ev

Generally a c/r on the river with 2 other people means they can beat TPGK. I think folding is fine here. But from how aggressive I hear the 10/20 game is, it is probably close.
