Default Check-call this JJ through showdown?

Only been on the table about 50 hands... no real good reads on either player.

i would raise the flop. you are either hopelessly beat by CO or he has 6 outs with AQ, I would try to get him out here. he might even fold QQ.

I think you're losing money for sure with this line and folding the flop is better than this.

That's a tough spot on the flop as the only likely hand that you are beating is a flush draw and most players wouldn't bet it in that spot since the likelyhood of a raise is so high.

If you are going to play you should raise for several reasons.
1) You confront the CO with 2 bets, he might even fold Q's here.
2) If the SB goes into calldown mode then it's a cheaper route to showdown.
3) If you meet any further resistance from the SB or CO then you can throw your hand away and get off cheap.

I would raise the flop here for the reasons specified. It will typically allow you to get to showdown for 2BB's instead of 2.5BB's and will put maximum pressure on a flush draw plus it also puts maximum pressure on the CO. There is an added benefit of raising the flop in this hand in that by raising the flop you more clearly define both of your opponents hands. Paying money to do this often isn't a great idea but in this hand it is because it's just a part of the combined reason for raising.

If you were head's up going into the flop in a slightly smaller pot then I would like check/calling down as this way you win the most/lose the least and don't allow your opponent to blow you off the winning hand.

Raise the flop. If you are behind (and you probably are) they will tell you and you can get out cheaper than taking your line.
The SB betting into both preflop agressors means trouble.

I agree with all your responses... the flop raise is the way to go. Not that this makes any difference on the play, but just to show you how rediculous 3/6 6-max can be... SB had 7h4h for trips.

If we raise on the flop and get reraised, do we go into call down mode then ? A good chunk of the time we're up against a spade draw, how do you decide when to call down from then on ?
