I'd probably wait to rasie until the turn when your equity will either go way up or way down.

I was thinking the same, however, I'm known to wait till the turn too often at times... best bet is to Stove it against random hands to get a feel for our equity here.

Not raising the turn is piss poor poker. We are getting a nice overlay on the raise with 2 callers in the middle, and we have a LAG bettor who probably doesn't have us beat in the 1st place. We don't have to be good very often here to make this raise +EV. So what are we waiting for...get the money in the middle!

PF call is standard here. Toss J7s into the muck but Q7s is good enough to play. All suited aces/kings are worth a limp here too.

When you don't raise the turn, UTG+1 (described as loose passive) feels more confident with even just a naked K against the nutjob UTG. Given that, I hate the river fold.

I like the limp, you are the CO on a loose table. Preflop I like the cap, although you have 4 callers, so I would start to be cautious of trips or a higher 2 pair, but I would still figure the hero for the lead. With the turn I may have raised, just to test the waters, but that's about it. I know it's not always wise to test after the turn but I think it's alright here. Then with the river, the utg +1 raises, since you don't know him I guess this is just your call, I would have at least called, I think the ev is in you favor on this call.

(grunch)

Yes, waking up on the river is strange, but we have no read on UTG+1...the raise could mean absolutely anything. I wish we were closing the action, but there is no way I'm folding this in a pot this size. There are 23 big bets in the pot. I call.

Are you saying that you like the flop raise/cap, and then to raise the turn, or do you prefer Grunch's suggestion to wait for the turn to raise?
