AQs on monotone board
Villain is 35/6 after 17 hands. Not much to go on. If the pot was bigger I might have stuck around, but I figured I had the worst of it and cut my losses. Is this too weak?

Re: AQs on monotone board
I probably call here. Your getting 10.5:1, did your opponent really flop a flush? Many times your opponent has A or K [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] and is raising as a bluff. You can check fold or bet fold a non club turn. Bet folding would be too weak if you spiked a non club a or q though. In which case I would bet/call.

Re: AQs on monotone board
Call. You have 4 clean outs (2 very tainted outs) and are getting nearly 11:1 to continue to the turn. You can check-fold, or bet-fold depending on how aggressive your opponent is. Most likely a raise here means you up against a 1 club draw or a weak made hand trying to get you to fold. Many players, if they flop a flush in this position will just call you and raise your turn bet. Especially if you're aggressive. The also depends on how tricky your opponent is here.
Folding here is bad because you are getting favorable odds to continue and also folding to one SB on the flop will tell your more observant opponent to take shots at you on the flop to get you to fold. |
