Default 6 handed limit hand range.

After about 25K hands at 5/10 I'm just going through some of my PT positional stats and picking out a few hands that I may or may not be misplaying or maybe I shouldn't be playing them at all. I've lost more than I should with these hands or it might just be variance.

KTs, KTo, K9s, K9o, QTs, QTo, Q9o, J9o, JTo, 9To,

Which are MP but not UTG or even just CO or Button?

I have made a little with JTo and 9To UTG so I'm thnking that the other hands hands might just come around eventually and that I might have been playing them poorly. I've also lost a lot in MP with QTo and Q9o but not with J9o. Overall I've lost a lot more than I've won in all positions with this group so I think I have to be doing something wrong.

your sample size is way, way too small. in a 25k sample you will see many combos out of 169 that are out of whack with what you'd expect.

i don't feel comfortable opening utg with any of these hands. Q9 J9 T9 I am only playing in CO or button, the rest i start opening in MP. depending on reads.

I think I'd find it hard to keep my VPIP over 30% if I cut back that far. Taking out KTs, QTs and JTo from UTG seems going a bit too far since I've profited from all suited connectors down to 78s UTG.

Why do you want to keep you VPIP over 30?

I think most of the >2BB/100 winners on here have VPIP in the 22-28 range.

You couldn't possibly make 2BB/100 shorthanded with a VPIP of 22%.

Yes you can - 22-24 VPIP on Party 5-10 it is pretty easy to win 2BB/100 (assuming PFR 12-15)- not sure why everyone thinks you need to play more hands than this to be profitable - tight agressive is the only way to play (tight) - unless of course you are playing allot 2-4 handed......

You can probably add 98s and T8o to your list of UTG raising hands. I've been doing this for the last 10k hands so far they are showing a huge profit so it's probably the right play.

The stuff about winning with a VPIP under 30 is all jokes, of course. Personally I play a nice solid 35/22 style unless the table is tight--then I'll open up more and really put pressure on the blinds.

You are raising T8 Off UTG? wow! I am only raising that CU or button first in - what are your stats with these 'looser' UTG raises, and at what limit?
