Default What\'s with the raked hands % at The Gaming Club?

AAmazon - how did you ever get all those raked hands? Havanabanana, how did you figure 66% raked hands?

I joined the highvolume "deal" at the Gaming Club and was really thinking it would be a good payoff.....

Then after seeing how low my raked hands were, I used a PM to talk with TGCg here (and said I wouldn't bash their site here, but I can't help telling this - sorry) and said the "deal" looked too tough and I was expecting more raked hands.

Well, I waited two full days to make sure I got creditd for all my raked hands:

.5 table hour at $3/$6
5 table hours at $5/$10
12 table hours at $2/$4

(Plus 10 table hours of NL, but these may not count towards the rake)

My guess is that this is at least 1000 hands.

Total hands raked by their records: 395

So, to get to 20,000 raked hands before the end of September and receive 50% "rakeback I just need to play 860 table hours.

What is wrong with this picture?

Hmm, just looked at your account and you have played 1027 hands. (Fixed Limit)

$2 - $4 709 hands 319raked hands 45.0% raked
$3 - $6 86 hands 53raked hands 61.6% raked
$5 - $10 232 hands 174raked hands 75.0% raked

Total raked hands in the fixed limits: 546

This is pretty much as expected.

11 hours $2 - $4
1 Hour $3 - $6
4 hours $5 - $10

So... 4 tabling at the same rates you will get 136 raked hands per hour, and 20 000 divided by 136 is 147 hours, divide that by 40 days and you get less than 4 hours play each day.

Playing less $2 - $4 will make it easier still.

I am not sure where you got the 395 number, but that is not correct.

Let me know and I will have someone look into it.

Best Regards,

ToT

First, the raked hand counter on TGC is "delayed".

Second, use Poker Tracker, to track raked hands for you.

Default Havana - this now looks like a decent deal

Havana - thank you for your reply, and checking my stats. The number of raked hands (395) is what pops up on my screen when I log in. Since you have checked and I have more (546), then the % looks better - about 53%.

Obviously if I could five-table all $5/$10 games, I'd be golden.

Yes it is still open, and 50% is far from max that you can make. As the man said, see my profile.

Will 8-tabling be a TGC exclusive or standard across Prima?

9 mini tables would fit nicely on a 2001FP (Hint)
