net hand reading

This all seems pretty standard to me. This is just another every day play at the 10-20 or 15-30's on Party Poker.

I'm not always happy with my play, but I would play this hand under the same conditions the same way pre-flop again.

My first raise, from the blinds against late position opponents that I precieve to be very weak, is based on a weak tight calling in front of a post(this screams a hand looking for multi-way action) and a post that can't raise after a limper can be a small pair but is usually just garbage.

I don't think this is the case here. It is very unlikely that the post(the 3-bettor) has any of these hands. Also I've found that in limit holdem when someone limps behind a late limper then reraises it's almost always suited connectors or Axs, more likely the former, trying to get free cards from an up front raiser on later streets if he doesn't hit the flop well.

My cap is to drive out the weak tight(who could have a very small pair) and play against what I consider to be most likely two suited connectors, but could be Axs in my dreams. My hand does best heads-up against a single player that has show great weakness with little chance of a slow-play. IMO. But I'm willing to cast my fate on a jury of my peers here among other winning players playing the same limit or higher as to me being too loose aggressive preflop, on this hand.

At Party the 10-20 O8 game had an average pot of ~$290 about 20 minutes ago [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img].

I would not have been able to resist the temptation to tell him that the only 2 hands he could beat were 42 and 32, and split the pot against 28, for the sheer fact that I get to invision him staring at his computer screen, possibly getting the hand history, and finally after 20 minutes of hard thinking, the epiphony (sp?) that he is the worst poker player on the planet and has no business ever laying down another dollar on the table. Yes this would scare a fish away, but damn it would have me laughing for months, which I feel is worth the money I lost by losing his action. I imagine it would play out like this: "Wait...... Ace.....Ten.....seven.....six.......five.......hmm mmmmmmmmmmm........eight..........three........... ..OH MAN, WHAT WAS I THINKING? HE RAISED AND BET THE WHOLE WAY!!!!! HOW COULD I CALL, I HAD NO CHANCE!!!!!! I SHOULD JUST TAKE A SHOTGUN AND END IT ALL NOW!!!" or something like that.
