The thing to do is definitly make sure you can say to yourself today, "I am going to play solid, winning poker." It doesn't have to be your absolute A game, but if you can't play close to it right now, don't play.
I think a lot of players will tell you that they bounced around a lot before moving up to a certain limit. I gave 30-60 a shot for a while back when the tables first open up and was no where near ready. I went back down to 5-10 to regain my confidence for a while. Then i worked my way back up the ladder to 10-20, and now 20-40. Make sure you have a more cushioned bankroll when you are moving up, absolute minimum of 500BB. From some of the things i have read in the past, this may be difficult and it may not, but i am sure this will be immensley helpful. Good luck! Gabe |
