Default KQ the Dominated

I've been running into this situation alot lately and i'm wondering if i played it right. Given the sitiation i have to wonder what exactly i am beating here, and would he be making the play with K-10?

Can i ever fold this hand? Do i screw myself by 3 betting the flop? Say i call his raise on the flop, lead out on the turn and he raises can i then fold?

Don't think you can really avoid it. I would potentially, esp if the villian is passive, fold to a turn raise.

Nice hand. Sometimes this happens.

You should 3-bet the flop every single time, unless the villain is incredibly passive. When he just calls he 3-bet, of course you bet the turn & river.

I think you have to sometimes just take your lumps. This seems like one of those hands. If he raised the turn, I'd seriously think about folding.

As for calling the flop and betting out on the turn, it might work against a bad, passive, non-thinking player. I think that too many decent to good players will see through it though.

I think you played it fine.... AK is less likely because he smooth called you PF. KT is possible for many low limit players, but if he's the kind who'd play KT, then he's also the kind who would call you down with a worse hand, so I think you have to bet the river for value.

By the way, don't post player names (not polite) and don't post the results in the original post (it can taint the feedback you're given)

It's never about the results, only about your play. You either played the hand correctly, or you didn't. If you had 68offsuit, and the board came up AA923 with him checkraising you the whole way, and he turns over 48 at the end, you still played it horribly even though you won. And that's what should be talked about. Make sense?
