Re: Bankroll questions, semi-new limit player
Check out GameTime as a complement to Poker Tracker, really nice to have all the info you want right on the board. Note that you can configure which info you want. I usually want VPIP/Raise PreFlop/Agression Factor.
When I want to play at my best level, I usually only single-table, unless I notice that there are a lot of fish, then I may add a table. If I multi-table (for instance when working on a bonus), I usually step down a step as my win rate is usually reduced somewhat. |

Check out GameTime as a complement to Poker Tracker [/ QUOTE ] This is pretty outdated I think. Poker Ace HUD is the way to go. |

Re: Bankroll questions, semi-new limit player
So, does everyone think I should move the 1k to PartyPoker and play 1/2 there?
Can low limit be profitable on Stars? |

[/ QUOTE ] In my experience, the players on 1/2 & 2/4 Stars are generally tighter preflop than their Party counterparts, but just as bad postflop. So I don't think you're giving up a whole lot by sticking with Stars for the time being. If/when you do move to the Party skins, get a rakeback deal for Empire rather than joining Party itself. Assuming you don't already have a Party/Empire account on your computer. |

Re: Bankroll questions, semi-new limit player
You should play 1/2 for a while and bonuswhore (bounce between varies sites as they offer bonuses. For example, Paradise is running a bonus this weekend). You can build up some money pretty quickly by doing that. Do that for a month or two and then move to 2/4 depending on how you are feeling. You may also want to try the $25 and $50 buyin NL games.
