Tomorrow morning I'm taking my dog in to have his balls cut off. My wife is pushing for neutering, she doesn't wanna clean up dog jizz every morning, nor does she want to worry about our 100 lb dog humping relatives that come to stay with us etc. On the other hand, I have balls and I'd be pissed if someone decided to cut them off. Oh well...

Just get yours cut off at the same time. No more guilt.

just think that he will probably live longer without the balls than with them. also, neutering doesn't seem to affect humping behavior at all.

It does lessen the humping, also makes dogs less aggressive.

Yup, he'll still probably hump. But it's the right thing to do so you don't end up having to answer to the neighbor with the show quality toy poodle that just had some kind of alien babies.

I think it also depends on when you get the dog neutered.
I got mine neutered asap, around 6 months old I believe. He hasn't humped anything since then. |

Don't feel guilty, most of the time it's not enjoyable for dogs to have them left on.
