Default Fishy river check, right?

Button seems like a solid 25/20 2p2er

Party Poker 10/20 Hold'em (6 max, 4 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is BB with Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].
UTG calls, Button raises, 1 fold, Hero 3-bets, UTG calls, Button calls.

Flop: (9.50 SB) J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (3 players)
Hero bets, UTG folds, Button raises, Hero 3-bets, Button calls.

Turn: (7.75 BB) K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero bets, Button calls.

River: (9.75 BB) J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)

With that river, I don't see much of what he could play that way that doesn't beat you. I'm not leading the river, and I may or may not call a river bet. I really don't know what's best.

definitely don't bet this river. the only hands you're ahead of are 33-99, 9T, QT, AT, and he's not folding a better hand. I usually c/f here b/c he won't be betting a worse hand 1 in 11 times.

*edit* forgot to add 9T and QT to the list of his potential holdings

talk about a bad river... i guess you have to check fold... .betting sucks because you will get called by more hands that beat you than hands that dont.. and i dont think your ahead of enough hands he raises vs an UTG limper to call a bet
