i have a tendency to over-estimate my implied odds and my chances to win on the river... given the pot odds..
i seem to chip speew alot.. does anyone have any tips to cut down .. i know im being a callingstation.. ugh.. its upsetting haha

implied odds are important in NL
HOWEVER
your implied odds really are never as good as you think for the flush draw. Its one thing to count implied odds for a straight, but a flush draw is so obvious its sick
keep that in mind when chasing

if you do, post your stats.

post the stats on the 'main' line for you on the first tab, the line with the game, #hands, VPIP, BB/100, WtSD, W$SD, PFR, etc.... and include your aggression factor.

that would be a place to start. then sort by the hands you lost the most on, and review them. if they are clearly bad beats, don't post them - otherwise put them up here for review.

More than your PT stats, what would be helpful in analysing a (potential) problem would be posting a set of hands where you believe you are doing these things.

Include characterisations of your opponents with the hands. That's really important with this stuff. If you want to make good estimates of your implied odds you really need to be able to build up a picture of how each particular opponent is going to react on future streets when you hit your "money cards."

What do these stats tell you about how well the OPer estimates implied odds? or their ability to estimate their winning chances when calling a river bet?

Fair enough, the general stats don't tell you anything about estimating implied odds.... I took the OP to be more a "i'm losing money, help" than a "i'm losing money in this one situation". Mud, if you're interested in just the implied odds aspect of spewing, then nevermind and yeah, post hands.

anyways my stats are (all 6 max)
vp$ip: 27.7
PFR 8%
went to SD: 23%
won $ at SD: 51%
attempt to steal blinds 15%

so my won money at showdown wasnt to good
i dont know.. i have some obvious leaks in game.

Also, 8% PFR in 6-max? Isn't that just a bit tight?
