Default Live $3000 tourny hand

Ok 150 runners, 24 left and they pay 18. i have about 50k chips which is average.

A swede has been playing loose and has been caught steeling a number of times.

Blinds are at 2-4k and he raises my bb from mp to 10k. All fold to me and I have Kc 4s and have him out chipped by about 15k chips. I called his raise hoping to get him off his hand on the flop. The flop is 234 all of clubs.

What should my play be? 22k in the pot and he has 30k left. I put him on a marginal hand like AT.

Ty,

David

check/call a push or check raise all in on a weak continuation bet, he's not going to fold any hand that beats you and this way he gets a chance to put chips in while behind.

I'm not wild about the PF call especially if you put him on a hand like AT. Villain is almost pot commited and it's likely that all the chips go in.

As it turned out the flop was great for you. If villain has a hand like AT (no club) he has 7 outs or 15 outs if he has the A [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

I'd lead for 1/2 the pot. I don't think villain is going to bet when he's behind, and would rather take a free card because he has 7 1/2XBB left and can still play if he gives up on the hand. The value of your hand comes from the flush, if the 2,3,4 were rainbow then you'd probably be moving all in. Of course if you are convinced that villain will bet it, then you should check/raise all in.

Agreed. He has too many possible outs to go for a c/r allin. Push or bet enough that lets him know he can't steal this pot away from you. you aren't folding.

Yes i pushed, but was not sure if it was the right move.

If i was to bet half the pot i thought he may push and i did not want to give him this option.

you don't think that villain bets most of the times if we check to him? i think you're giving up value with this line.
