I'm not sure what the PokerTracker numbers mean (I haven't gotten around to purchasing it yet), but if Villain is super-aggressive here, it looks like you might have just been beat by A4? I have trouble putting Villain on any other hand here. Maybe a poorly played AJs or a craftily played AK?

Curious to see what others think, but I play it the same exact way you did. Then again, I bet those cryptic little PT numbers would help out, huh?

I almost always use the check/call check/call bet/fold line here.

I like the fopo c/r to clear the field.

What hands are you trying to get the third guy to fold?

Villian's line looks like he's got you beat...I usually play sets and 2 pair like this if i'm checkraised on the flop.....

For the record though, I like leading at this flop, and then calling down from there...The guy in the middle can go ahead and call too if he wants...

fold the turn, u are drawing to 3 outs at best. Unless u think he's messing around w/ a freshly minted flush draw, but thats unlikely.

Most of the time the c/c, c/c, bet/f line is good. I dont know if its worth it to c/r this flop as u are probably behind, and u dont really want to give a worse hand the opportunity to fold or freeze up. The player stuck in the middle, has at best a 5 outer...probably not even that, in the fact that he is probably drawing to two running perfects. So not much value in trying to dump him out of the hand IMO.

so the standard wa/wb line works best me thinks.

I have to agree with this line as well, for the same reasons.

This post also makes it clear just how limited "PT reads" are. The stats shown do not tell us what he raises EP players with, or 3-bets them with, nor what he CR the Turn with. All these pieces of information, available to the observant player, will help make the Turn decision a lot easier (given the play as it was).

How many times has this player re-raised PF?

Yup. That board is pretty dry.

"ever" is very absolute. not usually, though.

It's hard to imagine how we're not beat on the turn. His 3-bet hands are going to be big pairs or AQ+. If he had big pairs I would imagine he would at most call you down after the flop c/r. The line he took is pure value extraction, and I think we're at best calling down to a split pot.

It's close, but I think I would fold the turn to the raise.
