he is random. he alternates randomly between loose passive and lag.

true. but i didnt put him on that. his donl bet here just screamed total random bluff. i mean i thought he had A high or something, but that it was a hand he felt he needed to bluff with.

If there is a reasonable chance he has nothing and is bluffing then it seems ok. If he likely has a mediocre hand rather than nothing I think it is a waste.

Of course my perspective is mostly from online, where river raising NEVER EVER EVER folds anyone (hilariously even when they were bluffing!).

VNH, couldnt wait to see the result.

I never posted my .02 but I definitly thought he was going to call with a mid PP. But I guess thats why Im not playing 100/200! [img]/images/graemlins/tongue.gif[/img]

Hell of a read. Nice hand. Although I am struggling to find what I (and other posters) can take away from it given that I rarely play live. Assuming you are profitable with these plays it is certainly a skill I would like to improve, but not one I think is possible by reading posts online.
