So 8 tables 40 hrs/week is hell, apparently (i wouldnt know). But 20 hrs is tolerable? If 40 is really that miserable and hellish, it seems 20 or more would be almost that bad.

[/ QUOTE ]
40 is a lot more than 20.

[/ QUOTE ]

Yeah, almost twice as much.

almost

8 tabling SNG's is like 6 tabling ring games or 4 tabling 6max games.

[/ QUOTE ]

i think this is just very very wrong. 8 tabling 215s is like 6 tabling 6max, but like 10 tabling full ring imo. this should be fairly obvious, as sngs get short handed and your decisions need to become quicker and occur more often. 10 handed ring game stays that way. holla

[/ QUOTE ]

i 100% agree. i would never 8 table SNGs b/c you just end up 4 handed so often that its just hellish to play optimally w/ all those tables going. im sure we can tweak the ratios back and forth but multitabling sngs is harder than multitabling an equal amount of 10 or 6max tables IF YOU ARE GREAT AT SNGs on average AND keep the table # to 8 (if you bust, you start a new one). im jealous of your 12 tabling though raptor, i simply dont have any more space until i get my new computer ...if that ever happens, ty enon

bite me.

[/ QUOTE ]

Have you guys actually 8 tabled all of these games? I think my ratio is slightly off, I made it 12:8:6 because I thought it best illustrated the point but I think it's probably more like 12:9:7 or so. When I was 8 tabling 200+15's continously (starting new ones right away) I felt I should buy another monitor and 12 table it because I had too much idle time. When I was 8 tabling 15/30 full ring, I felt it may be possible to add in another couple tables. When I was 8 tabling 10/20 6max I definitely felt that that was it.

I think you guys don't have a complete enough backround in EACH of these games to accurately judge this. From raptor's comments "10 tabling full ring is like 8 tabling SNG's" it sounds like he once multitabled 3/6 or something but definitely not 15/30. And from Barron's comments "i would never 8 table SNGs", well this is surprising coming from someone who 8 tables the 30/60 right now and it does show us that he either has little to no experience multitabling SNGs.

Of course the exact ratios are really going to come down to your knowledge and experience at the game but for one who is equally experienced at all 3, I think I'm on the right track with 12:9:7.

So youre one of the better 30/60 multitablers on this entire forum. You 8 table 30/60, 40 hrs a week, for a year, making about one big bet an hour on average.

60 times 8 times 40 x 52 = ..........

$$960,000 a year!!

These very good multitabling players are making nearly a cool million a year, playing 30/60!?!?

[/ QUOTE ]

Why would you 8 table for 40 hours a week when you could 16 table for 60 hours a week? Also, why win at such a low rate when you could win at a higher rate? Taking it further, why only play 52 weeks a year?

Think about these #'s for a while....

16 tables = 1040 hands an hour
3.5bb/100 = 210
$2184 per hour

60 hr/wk = $131,040
80 wks/yr = $10,483,200

Also, you'd get about $449280 in rakeback @ 30% which gives you a total of

$10,932,480
