Tourny Poker VS Ring

Agree or disagree?

1 There is a big difference between online tournement poker and online ring games

2) I play differently when I play in ring games then when I play SnGs or Tournys

In my personal opinion, I feel more confident when I play in a tourny but have recently been finding myself fallin on the bubble....

Im thinking about getting into ring games again but I feel that I tend to be very tight, or perhaps too tight in ring games...

Does anyone have any suggestions?

1) Agree. In my limited experience, you need the cards most of the time in ring games, you get called down much more often/more players sticking around for the same size raises as will cause a fold or just one in in a tourney. In my mind that's the main difference between a ring game and an early stage of tourney (once rebuys are over).

2) Definitely - different play at both different stages and how big your stack is compared to the blinds.
