Here are the exact point structures we use:

Stud events

1st 300 points
2nd 200 points
3rd 140 points
4th 100 points
5th 80 points
6th 70 points
7th 60 points
8th 50 points

Heads Up Event

1st 300 points
2nd 200 points
3rd 100 points
4th 100 points
5th 75 points
6th 75 points
7th 75 points
8th 75 points

Omaha/Holdem events

1st 300 points
2nd 200 points
3rd 120 points
4th 100 points
5th 80 points
6th 65 points
7th 55 points
8th 45 points
9th 35 points

Do I even want to ask why they are different for each game type?

Different # of people at final table for Stud and Hold'em/Omaha ... for heads up, 5th-8th isn't really different, they all went out in the quarterfinals.
