AJo - postflop plan
Tightish Pardise table. Insignificant PT reads on opps, and no specific hand-reads.
Paradise Poker 0.50/1 Hold'em (8 handed) converter Preflop: Hero is BB with A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. UTG calls, 5 folds, SB completes, Hero checks. Flop: (3 SB) K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (3 players) SB bets, Hero ? I'm thinking this is a good place to call the flop and raise the turn or river. What's everyone's line? |

Re: AJo - postflop plan
i like to know if he has the K while its still cheap... if this is going to get into a raising war, may as well be for the SB instead of a BB... I dunno, I am pretty noob still though... lets see what the guru's have to say.

Re: AJo - postflop plan
I think I would just raise. This is most often a worse ace. If he had the K, my experience say, that he would slowplay. He isn't laying down an A, so I would go ahead and get some money in the pot.

Re: AJo - postflop plan
Raise unless SB is the type to fold on the flop or the turn. Otherwise call, call, raise the river HU fold to a 3-bet. If UTG sticks around should you call the flop, I'd be more inclined to raise the turn especially if a draw appears.

Re: AJo - postflop plan
i usually call and either wait 'til turn or river. if he goes to showdown a lot, then raise the turn. if he can find the fold button holding a midpocket, raise the turn.
the danger with waiting 'til the river however, is if he's on a straight draw and won't pay off on the river, so you miss a bet. w/o reads, my default is raise the turn. |

Re: AJo - postflop plan
I just wrote out this really lengthy response about what I think we should do, and I realized that we aren't HU, and that UTG is still in the hand.
So call the flop, and re-evaluate on the turn. |

Re: AJo - postflop plan
I like calling flop, calling turn, raising river...
Whats up with the PF check? |

Re: AJo - postflop plan
I think I would raise the flop.
If you're behind, you're way behind and you'll put less money in here. I think making UTG call two should get him out, making this slightly easier to play, but not much. |

Re: AJo - postflop plan
Do we consider laying down on the turn if UTG suddenly wakes up?
