Last time I was in Vegas, shooting dice at Casino Royale, they closed at 4 am. What the heck kinda BS is that? It may be the only non-24 hour casino in Vegas. It was 100X odds though. Dont place. If you want extra action take a come bet or buy bet.

I'd rather lose at a $5 3-4-5x odds table than play with the wretched crowd at Casino Royale. I don't know who looks worse, the homeless crowd shooting the dice or the homeless crowd dealing the game. Just play in a nice strip casino, play the pass line and as much odds as you are comforable with.

Just hardways, horn, c&e and those type bets pay less than usual at casino royale. Place bets on 6 & 8 still pay 7:6, and carry the usual 1.5% vig. I typically only play pass, come, don't pass, don't come (all with as much odds as I can afford to take), and place the 6 & 8, that's it.

I usually tip the dealers by piggybacking odds on the 4 and 10, or sometimes on the 5 or 9, because I want their tip payouts to be vig-free, no sense paying the house a vig on dealer tips. At joker's wild and el dorado I can use 25c chips for tipping, so I piggyback 50c on practically every 4,5,9,10 and sometimes put a quarter on the pass line for the boys and take 4x or 5x odds for the boys. You have so much flexibility with the 25c checks. And heck, if we're running hot that night the boys and girls might make a few hundred just off me and Photoc.

I forgot to mention, el dorado's craps table is only open about ten hours a day, so call and make sure of their pit hours before you drive all the way down there. I am not sure of joker's wild pit hours, but it's usually open early in the AM and late at night, but it might not be open all night.

At joker's or el dorado you can buy the 4 or 10 for $5 with a quarter vig. I forgot to mention that, but I do occasionally buy those numbers just for the heck of it. what the hey, it's only a quarter!

The only 100% reliable place (that I frequent) to play cheep craps 24 hours a day is boulder station, where they will always have $2 pass with 10x odds.
