flopped set against calling station

How did I play this hand? Is everything textbook? I figured if the calling station (VPIP 60, POSTFLOP AGGRESSION < 1) had an overpair, he won't lay it down.

looks decent, I would probably lead the flop though.

Check-raise when the pot is bigger (turn) it gives them less chance to get away from the hand.

I think hero bet the turn for fear that it would get checked through. I personally would either check-raise the flop or lead out with a 1/2 pot bet on the flop, hoping to get raised in order to reraise. As it was played, I would have done the same thing on the turn.

My new favorite line with a flopped low set is to pot the flop, then check raise the turn and push the river. I've had great success recently with stacking people using this line. Seems like it woulda worked well here.

The hidden advantage to leading this flop is that you might get a few extra dead $'s from the guys in the middle. Of course they will more than likely drop when the action gets intense, but you got what you could.

The hidden (not really I guess) problem with this line is that the turn often times gets checked through with an observant/wary opponent.
