#BB downswing at limit in a casino 15/30
I had a -50BB downswing in Vegas. I feel I made a few minor mistakes when I might have been on tilt, but for the most part, my game was pretty solid. I will post a few hands in the small stakes. How many BB for downswings are typical in a loose/aggressive game at a B&M casino? How many BB for a really bad downswing?
I played in a few 15/30 games there that were very loose and aggressive. I am normally use to a loose 10/20 game. A lot of calling stations. But playing 15/30 in Vegas I found a lot of maniacs. People 3 betting the turn with middle pair, 3 betting GutShot straight draws, etc. There was this little old lady who 3 bet me out of the BB with 52o (I had AKs) Pots |

Re: #BB downswing at limit in a casino 15/30
50BB is nothing out of the ordinary. 100BB will happen everynow and again as well. The main problem with B&M downswings is that they seem to last longer, it is an illususion. This is why psychology is such an integral part of B&M, one simply cannot afford to tilt. You must play every hand with the 'long term' mantra in mind.

Re: #BB downswing at limit in a casino 15/30
When I was in Vegas I played for five weeks. First two weeks were a downswing and next three weeks were an upswing.
Much different than online where that happens in one long day. Downswing lasted much longer than it should have due to not knowing how to handle live downswings (which lasts days or weeks, opposed to hours) |

It's not an illusion time wise. It's an illusion hands wise. Since you can only sit at one table and the tables are half the speed(if that) a bad streak can last for weeks. Picture a week where you bust even 4 tabling then multiply it by 8....
