I'm going through my PT hands and stats trying to find leaks. Over 3,000 hands (yeah I know small sample size) my VP$IP, PFR% and AF seem to be in line per the FAQ. I've been running somewhat warm (wouldn't quite say hot) but am only squeezing out 3.81BB/100 playing UB .25/.50 full ring. Honestly the winrate doesn't matter with my sample size, it really has more to do with KNOWING that there are leaks in my game. For instance I know that I play overcards poorly, chase big gutshots when I don't have the odds, and call down way too often with 2nd best because I suck at reading hands.
One interesting thing that I noticed is that I raise the flop 60.54% of the time after raising preflop. Am I auto-betting the flop too much? I'm sure that the stat itself probably means very little or nothing, so advice how to identify hands for review in PT to find this would also be appreciatted. Also any good links or advice about plugging holes in your game? Thanks in advance! |

Sorry, but like you said, the sample size is woefully low.
I doubt chasing gutshots is your biggest leak. If it is, it's very easy to stop. |

[/ QUOTE ] Don't get me wrong, I don't think that chasing gutshots is my biggest leak. Probably not even close. I was simply giving examples of things that I KNOW are leaks in my game. |
