Here is a quote from him when I sat down with him at Event #9 in '05.
A real bad player who had a medium stack goes all in with A-T against guy with bigger stack and AQ. He hits his T. Phil remembers this hand the whole time... Later Phil raises a pot, and this scrub makes a big reraise. Phil takes some time to think and folds but then goes on a little speech... "We got a crazy player here! I love the crazy players, they might beat me in a hand but I will always bust them in the end. Always, I gaurantee you, I bust the crazy player in the end." Later he goes all in with AK, a TT calls and the tens hold up and Phils out. After the river comes blank, he immediately jumps up and says "Fuuuuuuuck. this [censored] tournament, [censored] bullshit" he dropped the f bomb like 5 times. pretty funnny.
