Turn on some Pink Floyd, preferably Atom Heart Mother... it will put you at peace with the poker table.

That makes a good randomizer for your play style if you use different MP3 songs and put them all on random

Default Changing music does?

I find that if I am on tilt that changing the type of music helps to get me off tilt and increases my awareness. (e.g. going from Hip-Hop to classical)

I'm a big fan of Pre-Romantic Classical music: Mozart, Haydn, Bach, Handel, and others. The music is consistent , generally upbeat, interesting, but non-instrusive. I find that it keeps my mind "afloat", if that's the right way to put it; that the constant churning of it keeps me sharp. It won't work if you dislike Classical music, obviously, but a nice Mozart symphony at a tempo of about 80 beats per minute is perfect to stay focused.

When I started out, I thought having the TV on with tapes of the WSOP games would help me and it kinda did for a bit but I soon found it more a distraction then help.

Classical and Baroque(Mozart, Bach, Beethoven chamber music) soothes me and keeps me pretty level. The big romatic works (Tchaickovsky, Brahms, Mahler, Verdi ect.) get my blood moving and there's also a subtle reminder of the need to pace myself. Jazz of the Miles Davis, Charles Mingus Ilk gets my aggression going. Short stacked, I like a lot of Irish folk music since it kinda represents the underdog.

Since I'm a musician who plays all this stuff, it evokes a good energy for me as long as I don't carry guilt about playing poker instead of practicing. As it is, today I am alternating one hour of practice with one of poker.

I love the idea of randomizing tracks to help me shift gears. Gotta try that next tourney. ;~)
