Default middle set on a monotone board (and intro)

Something is wrong with the converter.

Anyway, I'm new to the micro forum. I've been a tournament player for a few years now. I generally 4-table the $22 and $33 STT and dabble in MTTs. I started playing .5/1 on party to learn postflop play (which isn't really necessary in Party STTs), and I've started to like limit ring and decided to give it a try for a while.

On the following hand, I got 66 in the BB and flop middle set on a monotone board. I raised the flop and got called down to the river... Is this standard, or bad post-flop play?

Party Poker (8 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is BB with 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].
4 folds, Hero checks.

Flop: 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (4 players)
UTG folds.

Turn: A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 players)
SB checks.

River: Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 players)
SB checks.

Final Pot:

Looks right to me, too.

And, to make the converter work right, you have to remove the word "texas" from the beginning of the hand history (and I think you have to remove the space after texas as well).

Reposted for OP. Works fine with texas and the space removed.

I'd play it the same. I would not raise preflop here though personally.

I might, but it'd be fairly read dependent.

Any reads/stats?

I'd raise if I was SB, but out of BB I'm sure they are both going to call, so I just check. I realize my hand might be best right now, but there's too much that can happen on the flop to change that. Plus it increases the size of the pot, making it easier for opponents to call flop bets with draws.
