Default A8o, steal from hijack with a poster.

I'd mostly like input on river but am open to any advice.

CO is a 18/8/1.57 over 189 hands.
BB, I have very few reads on, he has been at the table for 9 hands during which he played 93s UTG and bet his 9 high all the way so he's capable of bluffing.

Party Poker 2/4 Hold'em (10 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is MP3 with A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. CO posts a blind of $2.
5 folds, Hero raises, CO (poster) 3-bets, 2 folds, BB calls, Hero calls.
I generally never raise this, but with the extra dead money I figured this was worth a steal-attempt since my hand isn't garbage. When CO 3-bets I figured he might very well suspect what I'm doing and be 3-betting lightly himself.

Flop: (9.50 SB) 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (3 players)
BB checks, Hero bets, CO raises, BB calls, Hero calls.
Seems like a good flop. I bet hoping CO will raise to drive out BB. BB stubbornly stays in, I see no reason to 3-bet. At this point I also put CO on AK-AT, AA-44, a combination of high diamonds and/or maybe T9s

Turn: (7.75 BB) 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (3 players)
BB checks, Hero checks, CO checks.
After CO checks I'm putting him solely on AK-AT with possibly a diamond and a slight possibility of T9s

River: (7.75 BB) 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 players)
BB checks, Hero checks, CO checks.
This is where I believe I should have bet. Unless the 9 helped CO (T9s, A9, both which are unlikely) I have him beat, and while BB could have anything, he likely would have bet a flush or straight after missing a turn CR. He will also call me with a lot of worse hands.

Final Pot: 7.75 BB

EDIT: removed results

I don't like have the results in white, cuz I always look . I think PF is a fold. The rest of the hand seems fine to me.

Edit: by your description, BB is a deusche, so river bet.

PF is good. I'd 3-bet the flop, CO will probably loosen up his bets because he probably feels you're stealing.

[/ QUOTE ]I like your flop line better. How bad of an Ace, suit and off, are people willing to raise here? Also, it's 2/4, people will coldcall behind you.

I'd raise A7o or even any Ace if the Button and blinds are tight. Its a good raise since CO has a random hand with dead money in the pot as do the blinds. Its a good spot to raise.

I probably should have added that Button and SB were very tight so I was expecting to get HU with BB or 3-way as happened unless SB or button woke up with a premium hand.

Bet the turn.

What was your plan after checking the turn?
